This was a custom-made, hand-dyed silk dress made by a gorgeously talented artist in Seattle. Pictures don't do it justice. It is magnificent, buttery, ivory silk, dip dyed into deeper and deeper shades of green. It glows in the sun and swirls around your ankles as you walk. It is the most beautiful thing I have ever worn. I had the silk artist make silk chiffon ties in the back, dip dyed in a lovely robin's egg blue. The top is ivory silk, with abstract embroidery in ivory all over it. There is a halter of ivory silk chiffon, but the silhouette is essentially strapless. It was only worn once, and has been lovingly stored ever since.
