This dress was tailored by a very experienced bridal/evening gown tailor in Istanbul. The fabric is French lace, also purchased in Istanbul. Lining is silk/cotton. I purchased the fabric myself. We had a destination wedding and I got the dress made in Istanbul.
Please refer to photos. The dress has no train or veil. There are about 1.5 yards of extra french lace fabric if you would like to add a train to the dress, or make a veil. I will be happy to send this fabric with the dress.
I wanted a very understated and romantic dress and I was very happy with the result. I would say the waist area is a little tight for size 2, but there is some room around the hips and bust. I am 5'7'', 115 lbs, 34B bust. I wore the dress with 7'' heels and it was long enough. The bottom comes down straight but with some alteration it could be made into a proper mermaid.
It is off-white, and the lining is slightly darker than the lace fabric. There is no boning or cups sewed in. There is a concealed zipper on the side.
