My mother helped me pick out this gorgeous ivory chiffon-layered wedding gown in 2011 before my summer wedding. We went to numerous bridal shops, and finally I decided to go to David's Bridal. This gown was the third that I tried on that day and I knew instantly that it was the one for me. I love the light, flowy train, the intricate beading, the corset back, and the modest neckline. This gown was perfect for my beautiful beach wedding and reception. When my dad first saw me, he commented on how "elegant" I was, and what a great choice I had made with this gown (he is a sucker for fashion). To me, this gown is classic, and yes, elegant. I love the simplicity of the a-line, with the added fairness of the chiffon layer. I love the details of the embroidered flowers that sparkle when the lights hits them. I love the gorgeous corset back, flowers falling down the sides, that is pulled together with the silken ivory ribbon (not to mention, the corset back puts some pressure off of "weight gain/loss" for your big day!). I love the soft creamy color that doesn't wash me out, but accentuates my summer glow. This gown made me feel like a princess!
I also found a veil that goes perfectly with the design of this gown. The hand-stitched flowers in the veil compliment the embroidery on the gown, and the length laid perfectly around my shoulders, with just enough skin between my veil and my gown. I am including the veil in the sale (originally $120), as I wish to pass this along to my gown's next owner.
